Having been in the poultry industry for over 25 years, Akate farms saw the need to provide support and quality feed for young and needy farmers.
Initially, Akate farms was producing its quality feed only for its farms. But upon constant request by farmers for our quality feed, the company expanded its feed production capacity from 2-tons/hour to 14-tons/hour mixing capacity.
In spite of its growth in production, we have not also compromised on our quality of feed produced by making due diligence in selecting sources for our feed ingredients with high standards and strong control mechanisms. We also have an installed 2-silo storage tanks of 1000 metric tons each with a modern grain automated dryer connected to the silos for storage which is also connected to the mixers for automated feed production ……….. human contacts for contamination.
