For the past twenty years Akate Farms has developed into a viable and mostly notably the biggest and innovative poultry industry in Ghana. The farm is located in the forest best of Ghana (West Africa), precisely on the Dote – Antoa road in the Ashanti Region.From a humble beginning of one thousand five hundred layers and eight hundred broilers, the farm now has a capacity of over four hundred thousand layers and ten thousand broilers. Other agricultural activities have been added to the poultry section.  These include rearing ruminants-cattle and sheep, as well as fish farming, plantain, mango and pineapple cultivation.

Currently, the company has spread its tentacles into construction works.
